A future vision for the downtown hub station plaza was proposed. Goals of the new plaza design include; introducing a sustainable living ecosystem into the urban fabric, celebrating a sense of community with a vibrant central core, and creating a thriving business environment. Vehicle parking and train platforms will be relocated underground, thus enabling a transformation of the surface space into tree lined promenades, garden courtyards, and large urban plazas.
